A tale of mystery and suspense in the old city of Barcelona.

This story for this program is set in Barcelona during the years of the Franco dictatorship. It is based upon the detective novel 'The shadow of the wind' by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, which has been translated into several languages and has become a huge international best seller.

The detective game which Team-Cat has derived from the book is stimulating, great fun, and an effective team building tool. Owing to its complexity and the allocation of character roles to individuals, however, it is not suitable for corporate groups of more than about 20 people.

Delegates must enter the arena of this intellectual battle with their wits sharpened, and take note of Sherlock Holmes's advice that "evidence can be a very tricky thing. It may seem to point straight in one direction, but if you shift your own point of view a little, you may find it pointing in an equally uncompromising manner to something entirely different."
