The autonomous community of Catalonia occupies a triangular area of 32 000 square km in the north-eastern corner of Spain. The area of France where we run our Creative teaming programs was once part of Catalonia, and the local people still regard themselves as Catalan, but it has in fact been part of France since the Treaty of the Pyrenees, in 1659, which established the modern border between France and Spain at the Pyrenees.
