Spain Nuclear skullduggery
The delegates were divided into two main teams, 16 in each - The teams were then divided into 8 mini teams. The afternoon's entertainment commenced with a hilarious kayak race from the beach in front of the delegates' hotel. Participants were required to collect a key from the monitor out in the bay, without being informed as to the use for this. Some pairs got wetter than others!
After this 'warm up' the mini teams headed for the cemetery, where they were given a briefing about their mission to locate the blueprints for a thermonuclear device. They located their first clue with the aid of a cipher in the cemetery and then went their separate ways, seeking the blueprints in the maze of little streets in Sitges town. All met on the beach around 1730 to be met with a final puzzle, [captured agents buried up to their necks in sand] and the afternoon ended with a 'tug o' war'.
Unfortunately, so powerful were the opposing teams that the rope broke in two, and all ended up flat on their backs in the soft sand, to the delight of the spectators, who were many in number!
